Hester Street Fair loves a friendly competition, and you're the judge!
EVENT DETAILS
The coffee world is full of passionate people who are dedicated to perfecting their craft with nearly mind-bending devotion. Coffee drinkers are now and forever thankful their efforts, so this season we are once again rounding up the best local coffee shops and roasters and challenging them to bring out their best iced coffee for the chance to win our coveted audience award. We are ready to put the best to the test!
You Be The Judge
Hester Street Fair loves a friendly competition. For $10 you get a voting ticket which grants you one vote and a 2-ounce sample of the absolute best cold brew each coffee purveyor has to offer. At 5pm we will tally up the votes and announce a winner.

Coffee Competitors
Round K Winning champion Round K is back to defend its title with an upgraded Round k matte black. Roasting their own beans in the LES, each blend’s roasting process and bean is wholly different and offers a unique caffeinating experience.
Kodawari is the Japanese word for obsession characterized by a fastidiousness born from a deep artisan passion. Kodawari’s kodawari is coffee. Kodawari will be entering their signature Papua New Guinea/Columbian blend cold brew coffee into the competition.
Kopi Trading Co This sibling-run roaster is here to bring Asian coffee and culture to the forefront of the NYC coffee scene.
Black Cat LES Black Cat’s signature coffee is the “Social Blend”: a Costa Rican blend roasted to perfection that tastes like laughter, connection, and endless possibilities.
Nomad Trading Co Returning for their second year with their Cascara cold brew—which utilizes the currently hard-trending fruit around the bean—Nomad Trading Co. has always impressed us with their unusual and smooth taste.
Spectrum Coffees Brooklyn based Spectrum carefully picks the best beans from around the world for roasts that retain what makes them unique and distinct from bean to cup. They literally can’t make their coffees any better than they already are.
Vagaband Kitchen Newcomer to the NYC coffee scene, the team behind Vagaband’s vegetarian kitchen has a huge love for coffee and sourcing that they want to share with everyone.
Hester Street Cafe Our brethren cafe located in the New Museum will be representing their own signature cold brew.
Music
Bryce Hackford’s atomized formulation of electronica and dance echoes the classic Detroit house of Moodymann and Theo Parrish. He proclaims himself a producer concerned with sensuality. You can’t miss him!
Vendor Highlights
Rollie Forever friends of the Fair, Rollie has debuted the best warm-weather shoe to keep you happy all summer long. The perfect outfit for this weekend’s rooftop party isn’t perfect enough until you slip on these new sandals.
WAX BBY BFFs Abby and Taylor started WAX BBY as a solution for not wanting to pay the insane prices for the candles they wanted. So at night, after day jobs and happy hours, they began hand-pouring candles with the scents they wanted to fill their spaces with—and now we’re lucky enough to have them all over our house.
MaisQueNada Ceramicist Ginny Redgate’s work is inspired by utility and simple, primitive forms that enhance a rustic life.
