Brasil Summerfest STREET FAIR + BLOCK PARTY
Festival opening day!
Brasil Summerfest, the largest international contemporary Brazilian music & arts festival in the world returns for its 8th year this summer. The festival will open with the popular Street Fair + Block Party featuring the best of Brazilian food and product vendors, drinks, DJs and live music performances in downtown Manhattan.
What’s to eat?
Churrasco (Brazilian BBQ), samba bowls (creation by Berimbau), tapioca delights, açai ice cream, acarajé, coxinhas (Brazilian croquettes), feijoada (Brazilian classic), pasteis de feira, cocada, pão de quejo and a lot more, plus a variety of other vendors showcasing their products.
What’s to drink?
Definitely Xingu Beer and Brazilian bubbly wines. Plus Sangria and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Bring your IDs.
Who’s rocking the party?
DJ Gaspar Muniz & DJ Greg Caz playing Brazilian classics of samba, forro, tropicalia, mpb and more!
Live choro music by Regional de NY. Live samba and drum ensembles by FogoAzul New York City and ManhattanSamba.
