We've gone vegan (for the day)!
Join us for a new venture at Hester Street Fair – a Vegan Food Fest! While we’ve been celebrating our 10th year, we’ve taken so much pleasure in opening our fairgrounds to new types of vendors and new communities that we have not worked with prior. On September 21st, join us for our Vegan Food Fest in partnership with the one and only Cheff’ Rootsie, and a special pop-up from Future Works NYC! We’re continuing on the legacy and supporting the best in NYC, so come down and hang with us to find a wide range of vendors. From vintage, home decor, to specialized beauty products and the latest fashion brands in addition to the yummy food.
Future Works NYC is at Hester Street Fair this Saturday to let you discover how all of their resources can soon become yours. But who are FutureWorks? They’re an incubator group on a mission to inspire and equip New Yorkers to build a 21st-century production economy together with a network of partnerships, services, educational programming, equipment, and spaces. All creatives and innovators should check this out! We promise!

What’s on the menu
Veggie Grub – Donna Davis is the master behind many of the vegan food festivals you’ve gone to within the past year in addition to being a powerhouse behind the vegan food court in St. Marks. We certainly love Donna for more than just her food, and you’ll without a doubt feel the same once you get a plate and see her smile.
Embrace Raw Living – Raw vegan pizza brought to you by an inside-and-out gorgeous family! Chef Chandra Lee won the prize for Best Presentation at this year’s Test Kitchen competition, and you have to see why for yourself.
Simply Mary’s – Our dreams have come true! “Cookie Dough” is now a healthy snack! Mary has crafted the perfect bite-size treat of vegan cookie dough to satisfy years of wishing this was the world we all lived in. Get them in packs of two or as a pop!
Elaine’s Sweets – Not sure about you, but our favorite type of vegan food is the type where you can’t tell that it’s vegan. That’s the best way to describe Elaine’s Sweets! You can double-check our theory and let us know what you think.
Adelante Shoe Co. is a mission-driven start-up that delivers handmade, made-to-order shoes direct from the BK-based company is only 10 days. Get your Fall shoes custom made this year, it’s your best bet!
Keeler Near & Kokiko are two young designers who made a major splash at our New Creators Market. Hand sewn pieces, pop culture, re-worked luxury fabrics and all-around great style are what these two brands and very good friends share together, along with a booth.
Requinn is brought to you by two awesome women who only started their line this past year. With something for everyone, their pieces can be worn day and night, on a casual walk or at a lovely dinner out. It’s all about ease and affordability with Requinn and that’s why we love them!
