Hester Street Fair is now accepting applications for food vendors to join an exciting lineup of events, including Paramount+ Movie Nights and Cultural Picnics. If you’re a chef, restaurateur, or food entrepreneur looking to showcase your concept to thousands of New Yorkers and visitors, this is your moment.

Each vendor receives:

  • A 10×10 tent (no outside tents permitted)
  • One 6-foot table and folding chairs
  • Optional power access (available for an additional fee)

Participation fee: $300 per event
Power add-on: $50 per event
Valence sign (one-time): $125

Movie Nights (10 Mondays)

Our flagship summer series draws massive crowds for outdoor films.

Commitment required: All 10 dates

Schedule:

  • Load-in: 12 PM
  • Service: 2:30 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Load-out: Completed by 10 PM

Cultural Picnics

A diverse lineup of performances—from jazz to opera to dance—paired with incredible food.

Flexible scheduling: Choose your preferred dates
Discount available for participating on multiple dates

Schedule:

  • Load-in: 2 PM
  • Service: 4 PM – 9 PM
  • Load-out: Completed by 10 PM

Dance Parties

High-energy evenings with live music and dance instruction.

  • Discounts available for committing to all 6 events
  • Great opportunity for vendors with fast, crowd-friendly menus

Vendor Requirements

To maintain a safe, professional, and high-quality environment, all vendors must:

  • Operate fully within the assigned 10×10 footprint
  • Provide valid NYC DOH Health Permit (TFSE)
  • Carry general liability insurance ($2M coverage required)
  • Respect and protect the Bryant Park grounds
  • Submit menu items, branding assets, and setup details

Be ready to provide:

  • Business details and contact information
  • Cuisine type and three proposed menu items
  • Social media and website links
  • Photos of your food and booth setup
  • Logo for promotional use
  • Exact valence sign text (your business name + descriptor)
  • Detailed power requirements (if needed)
