Join us in the park for an Octoberfest Hester Street Style, alongside all your favorite vendors we will be showcasing several breweries featuring different styles of their best brew. Grab a Sigmund’s Pretzels and German Bratwurst and have beer. As with all Hester Street Fair Saturday markets this is free to enter with special beer tickets below.
Biergarten
We are offering $15 tickets to try all 7 beers on hand or you can purchase them individually. This year we are offering the following:
Mikkeller Sizzle Sesh– (5%) Double dry hopped session IPA brewed with Szechuan peppercorns.
Mikkeller Henry Hustle– (5%) American Pale Ale brewed with Citra and Centennial hops.
Three’s Brewing Vliet – Pilsner (5.2%) Clean, Sweet Hay, Herbal Hops, Verdant.
Three’s Brewing Logical Conclusion – IPA (7%) Ripe Peach, Gushers™, Fluffy Wheat, Coniferous, White Minerals. Hopped with Citra, Simcoe & Mosaic.
KCBG Zøktoberfest Festbier/Märzen – (5.6%) Bready malt character, with balanced, earthy bitterness. Finishes crisp and dry. Brewed with 100% German malt and noble hops.
KCBG Penguins On Planet X Session IPA – (4.9%) Flavors of dank citrus fruit and fresh pineapple. Hopped this time around with Mosaic & Ella, with the same base of 2-row, flaked wheat & rye.

DownEast Lobstah What other Oktoberfest has lobster rolls – cold or hot even with cheese on top. Have you ever had a lobster hush puppy? Just do it. You’ll be so happy.
Rosey Jamaican People come far and wide for Rosey’s Jamaican food and all the locals stop us and tell us how they would cry if she ever didn’t show up luckily for all of us she always does.
Manju Shrimp Katsu, bahn mi burgers, sous vide pork, duck bao…. bring your appetite because you need to try everything first time vendors Manju will be slinging out this Saturday.
German Bratwurst We like to be different but we also know what the classic combination is and we have it for you!

- Every weekend, the Hester Street Fair draws Lower East Side locals, families, and tourists. We drew more than 11,000 people on this year’s opening day and continue to draw thousands of people every weekend. 75% of our roster is from the local community, and all goods are either handmade or owner collected with an emphasis on unique specialty items. We have maintained our place as the most affordable artisanal street fair in the city, allowing for vendors experimentation in branding and product creation. The space has become a launchpad for a diverse group of entrepreneurs looking to build their brands and bring ideas to life.
- Our first Grub Street Food Festival, was attended by over 13,000 visitors
